Status: Initial contract 12 months. Proposed project duration 5 years, the post will be subject to review at 12 months.
Salary: £25,000 pa

Supported by The Lord’s Taverners, C P Sport is delighted to announce the exciting and challenging new post of Boccia Development Officer. This strategic appointment is part of a national plan to increase junior boccia participation and competitive opportunities.
The new Under 19s initiative is of significant importance to disadvantaged young people, and we will be looking for a person who is creative, self-motivated and has good communication, organisational and leadership skills. The overall aim of the project is to establish and co-ordinate a junior competition and club development programme.
The postholder will have the confidence and experience to work with a range of partners, both internal and external, building networks in order to promote the new opportunities to a wide ranging audience.
The candidate will have experience of working in a sports environment and have a knowledge of boccia and disability sport. The post will involve working unsociable hours and necessitate extensive travel throughout England.
