Wheelchair Tennis Taster Sessions
Cardiff Wheelchair Tennis Club, based at Esporta Health and Rackets Club & Welsh National Tennis Centre, is proud to present a new Sunday wheelchair tennis initiative beginning Sunday 7th March 2010.
Anyone with a physical disability is welcome and rackets and special tennis wheelchairs will be provided.
Initially there will be a group of 10 sessions, with coaching provided, aimed at newer players, or those who haven’t played in a while, to introduce them to the basics of the sport and give a taste of the fun and freedom wheelchair tennis can bring. It is hoped that with enough support we can then sustain this new session indefinitely to complement the weekday sessions that are already in place at the centre.
