Team Midland –Pudsey 24Hr
Paralympian Simon Richardson (pictured here) and some fellow cyclists are planning to transport Pudsey Bear round this track Non Stop for 24 hrs at Calshot Velodrome in Southampton.
To do this riders will be assembled into teams. (Ideally 4 riders or more) Within each team there will be an appointed Team Leader (dressed in a yellow jersey and carrying Pudsey on the front of his bike).
Each team will ride in Team Pursuit style for the dedicated period. (1 hour with a bike computer measuring distance travelled).
The teams will change every hour and the distance covered will be posted on the TM Racing web site.
Supporters can log on to follow the progress and Email or phone us in the Track Centre. Then challenge their favourite team to ride further next time they are on the track and make a donation online.
Who are the Teams?
Three teams from the West Midlands two from Team Midland Racing with one Team from Red Kite Cycles.
Chippenham +District Wheelers, Bournemouth Arrow CC, Team HM VS from Winchester,
The Stars of the Show will be the Paralympic Golden Boys Darren Kenny from Verwood in Dorset and Simon Richardson from Porthcawl in South Wales .
These two Super Heroes won 6 Gold medals and 2 Silver medals in Beijing.

We are planning to raise £10K for Children In Need to do this we need your help you can log on and make a donation on line. You could come along to the Calshot Activity Centre near Southampton.
Put some money in the pot. Challenge a team to rider further for another donation. Email or phone us and Challenge your Favourite Team to beat the distance they did the last time they where on the track.
Pudsey bear will not rest for 24hours riders will change, teams will change but Pudsey will keep on Rolling.
Will someone give us a big challenge the promise of a big Donation if we can carry the Bear for 500miles?
