Road Cycling Success!
Rachel Morris has taken a gold medal in the hand cycling road race.
Surrey-based Morris dominated her race from the very start, winning by nearly three minutes.
“I did my best and I am completely satisfied with this result,” said the world hand-cycling world champion. “It is a dream come true.”
Darren Kenny and Simon Richardson collected silver medals in their respective races.
Kenny – who won two golds on the track – finished second in the men’s individual time trial (CP3), while Richardson finished in 38 minutes 23.73secs, 23 seconds behind the Frenchman Laurent Thirionet.
