Club coach Pete Wheddon was on hand to present young James with his Club Champion award.
James who has Cerebal Palsey has been riding with the club for almost 3 years and continues to show great promise as a future Paralympian.
James is also a member of the Disability Sport Wales Cycling Academy and was ranked 18th in the World in 2008. James is one of over a dozen disabled riders who train with the club and benefit from the excellent development skills of the Newport Velo coaching team.
