Joe Ledley joined Blue Birds fanatic and Tomos Martin and his family at an awards ceremony to honour the unsung heroes of South Wales.
The Cardiff City star honoured the fourteen year old with the Child Champion of Courage Award at the South Wales Echo Community Awards.
Wheelchair-bound Tomos, from Penarth was choosen for the accolade in recognition of his determination to overcome numerous obstacles and go to 2012 Paralympics.
