MAY 15 UCI Disability Grand Prix of Wales

Since the inaugural event in 2006 the Disability Grand Prix of Wales continues to grow every year as a P1 “World Ranking” event in the International calendar, attracting top riders from around the World

Each Year Paralympic and World Champions holding multiple Paralympic / World Medals and Records take to the boards at Newport

Riders from New Zealand, Australia, USA, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Netherlands Italy , Ireland and a full field from Great Britain take part each year

The events are all based on the disability classifications and specific distances denoted by the “new” UCI 2010 regulations

One of the major objectives of the” Grand Prix” is to develop young Paralympians of the future. Every year we see a field of youth disability riders take part from the Disability Sport Wales Academy

The event is also open to riders of all abilities

Classification 15th May and competition 16th May 2010

Entry is £30 per rider (Tandem Pilot no fee)
