Richard Powell is Mr Comeback. The Llanelli wheelchair racer has not competed for GB since Barcelona 1992 but his renewed desire for the track has seen him shoot up to rank no.1 in the UK over the 400m.
Anthony Hughes – Performance Manager of Disability Sport Wales – explains, “Richard is a very experienced and extremely competitive racer. He knows how to focus his goals and he racing in Taipei to gain a qualification time for a place in the GB relay team for the Beijing Paralympics in 2008.
