Despite his spinal injury, Adam Lewis has quickly developed a superior prowess in the field events.
Competing for his first time under the GB banner, 21 year-old Lewis took gold with a 33:10 metre throw in the javelin and a bronze medal-winning performance in the shot-put.
The field star recently clinched his first international medal abroad, at the Dutch IPC Athletics trials last June. Not only this, he also won gold and silver medals at the Irish International Qualification Championships in Rosslare.
