Phil Roberts
Phil became a director of Disability Sport Wales prior the Athens Paralympic Games in 2004. As a reputable hotel manager in Cardiff, Phil became involved with DSW when his hotel was selected to hold the base camp for athletes prior the Paralympic Games. Since this occasion, Phil has been actively involved with DSW on a voluntary basis where he supports both national and regional events.
In addition to supporting DSW, Phil is a member on the funding raising board for Tenovus Cancer Charity. Phil’s other voluntary work has included NSPCC Wales and the Round Table.
Phil’s commitment to sport began in his earlier years when he competed as a county 400m runner on the track. On his retirement from running, Phil now spends his spare time catching waves in the Gower.
